How to correctly choose the freezing point of antifreeze?

Antifreeze prevents the cooling system from freezing or the cooling water bursting the pipes by lowering the freezing point of water. The basic indicators of antifreeze are freezing point and boiling point. In winter maintenance, attention should be paid to the use of antifreeze with a low freezing point. The lower the freezing point, the stronger the antifreeze performance of the antifreeze. The selection of antifreeze depends on the temperature conditions. The freezing point of the antifreeze should be 10-15°C lower than the local minimum temperature. If the local minimum temperature is minus 25°C, the freezing point of the antifreeze should be around -40°C.

How to choose diesel?

There are currently seven types of diesel on the market for consumers to choose from, namely 10# diesel, 5# diesel, 0# diesel, -10# diesel, -20# diesel, -35# diesel and -50# diesel. The reason why there are so many different brands of diesel oil is that No. 0 diesel oil is easy to condense at low temperature, which makes the vehicle unable to use normally. The lower the diesel grade, the stronger its anti-freezing ability, so when refueling, we should add diesel with an appropriate grade according to the actual local conditions.

Generally speaking, 5# diesel is suitable for use when the temperature is above 8°C; 0# diesel is suitable for use when the temperature is 8°C to 4°C; -10# diesel is suitable for use when the temperature is 4°C to -5°C °C; - 20# diesel is suitable for use when the temperature is - 5°C to - 14°C; - 35# diesel is suitable for use when the temperature is - 14°C to -29*C; - 50# diesel is suitable for use Use when the air temperature is between - 29°C and - 44°C or below. When there is no low-grade diesel, we can add an appropriate amount of diesel anticoagulant to the fuel tank to improve the anticondensation performance of diesel at low temperature.
