- Hand twisting method: grind the taken out old engine oil repeatedly with the thumb and index finger. The quality / quantity / good hand feel has lubricity, less wear debris and no friction. If you feel impurities, poor viscosity or even astringency, you should replace them.
- Color discrimination method: take a clean white filter test paper (quality / quantity / good tissue paper) and drop some old engine oil on the paper.
